Radnor Ambulance is a member of the Delaware County Strike Team, a statewide program developed by the Dept. of Health to improve EMS response in the event of pandemic or catastrophic casualty event that exceeds local, county, and regional resources anywhere in the Commonwealth or any other state requesting assistance. Team members are specially trained and equipped to provide disaster medical response to impacted areas whose resources are overwhelmed by an emergency. Duties included but are not limited to medical triage, on-scene medical care, transportation, shelter medical care, and hazardous materials scene medical support.
